2 / Trivia in the Park
On Tuesday, July 2, enjoy team trivia from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Giant Spring State Park in the grassy area in front of the Giant Springs. The competitive, random category, family-friendly Trivia game will be presented by park staff. Teams are capped at seven people. Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket, food and drink to comfortably enjoy four rounds of trivia presented with 10 questions each. 4 / Fourth of July Parade & Hootenanny
The annual Fourth of July parade begins at 11 a.m. and will run from 1st Avenue South to 8th Street, north to Central Avenue, and then heads west to Park Drive and disbands in Margaret Park (north of the Civic Center). For more information about the parade, call Lola Galloway at 406-750-4721.
Following the parade, enjoy the free Fourth of July Hootenanny street festival with music, dancing, food trucks and more. The Hootenanny will be located at Central Avenue and 5th Street. Rodney Atkins will perform a concert at 1 p.m. Learn more
5 / Community Fireworks Display
A community fireworks show will take place at 10:15 p.m. on July 4 at West Bank Park. Organizers recommend viewing the fireworks display at Elks-Riverside Park (River Drive North between Central & 6th Street). Parking will be available at Gibson Park. Other firework viewing options include Eagle Falls Golf Course and Centene Stadium. Learn more
