The Square invites felters, spinners, knitters, quilters – or any artist that uses fiber – to gather from 6 to 8 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month for Textile Tuesdays. The event will be held in the cafe (located through the Gift Shop), at 1400 1st Ave N., Great Falls, MT 59401. The Square launched this monthly gathering in October 2021 in conjunction with the exhibition, “Beyond Intention.” The gallery continues to hold these free, "open fiber studio" sessions once a month. Empowerment, recognition, and community converge at the YWCA Great Falls' annual Salute to Women Gala. On Friday, May 10, the doors open at 5 p.m. and the ceremony begins at 6 p.m. This signature event, steeped in tradition and purpose, celebrates the remarkable achievements and contributions of women in our community.
